Our Renewed prices are based on the new price (100% new) – depending on visual condition, accessories/packaging, and signs of use. Technically: Functionality must be right. Appearance affects the price.

Warranty & Apollo Renewed Service

We do not sell Renewed items as a "mystery box". You get clear information – and clear rules.

1) 30-day Renewed immediate service (replacement for issues on arrival)
If a Renewed item shows a functional defect within 30 days of delivery that was not caused by incorrect installation/operation, we typically offer replacement (if available) or an equivalent solution. Please contact us first with photo/video diagnosis before returning anything.
2) Statutory liability for defects (warranty) – transparent notice
Statutory liability for defects applies to consumers. For used goods in Germany, the period can be shortened to 1 year – but only if this has been clearly and separately agreed upon. (For B2C, it also applies that within the first 12 months, a defect that occurs is generally treated as if it were already present at the time of handover.)

Practice at Apollo Renewed: We transparently state the specific regulation in the offer/draft order.
3) Optional "Apollo Renewed Guarantee" (voluntary) – Recommendation for Trust
Recommendation (strong): In addition to the statutory liability for defects, you can offer a voluntary 12-month functional guarantee for Renewed items (with clear exclusions). This is not mandatory – but it sells better and reduces discussions.

Typical, fair wording: "12-month warranty on the basic function of the electronics (no wear and tear, no cosmetic defects, no capacity guarantee as with new goods)."
4) Important exclusions (sensible & common in PV/ESS industry)
To avoid disputes, you should clearly exclude or define for Renewed PV/ESS:
  • Wearing parts & normal aging (e.g., fans, seals, connectors/clips).
  • Cosmetic defects (scratches, housing marks) – if described in the offer.
  • Errors due to installation/operation (incorrect wiring, overvoltage, unauthorized components, water damage, modification).
  • Battery issue: For Renewed batteries, a clear definition of what "functional guarantee" means (e.g., start/discharge capability, BMS function), and that capacity/degradation is not guaranteed as with new goods – unless you explicitly provide a capacity promise.

If you wish, I can formulate the warranty/guarantee texts as GTC modules (separate for B2C/B2B) and in such a way that they are cleanly referenced in the draft order/offer.

FAQ (short & honest)

Are Renewed items "used"?
Yes – mostly returns or demo goods. The decisive factor is: We only sell after a function test and with a clear statement of condition.
Do I get original packaging & accessories?
Not always. That's exactly why you get an accessories list (including deviations) and photos with every offer.
How quickly is it shipped?
After payment, we typically plan 1–2 business days for final quality control & shipping preparation. After that, shipping time depends on the carrier.
Can I just order in the shop?
Some Renewed items are listed directly. However, many are offered individually because condition/accessories/price vary per unit. Therefore, it often works via inquiry → offer → draft order.
